An interjection from the death houses of this world!

Addendum to June 11 – International Day of Solidarity for Marius Mason and all anarchist long-term prisoners. Due to the mail, the post came a bit later, but shall be published here anyway.

Millions of people sit in the jails and dungeons of the rulers of this earth. Countless people are on death row. Others sit for days, for weeks or for months. Still others for decades. Only a few weeks ago it was announced from Baden-Württemberg that Hans-Georg will finally be released. It was January 20, 1962, when the Berlin prison gates closed behind him – he has been in custody since that day. Since 1962! He had shot two people after a robbery.

Solidarity with the struggle in Israel/Palestine is all about power

With the ceasefire in place, Palestinians returning to their destroyed homes and Israelis leaving the bunkers, we believe there is a need to keep on talking about the conflict. And although for many among the anarchists and left in Germany the situation is clear, and the mind is set, we still think that there is a lot to say.

It is hard to talk about who started first. And although the history of conflict is important, it is out of the scope of this text. Here we would like to talk about power today and the relationship between the state and the people on the territory of Israel and Palestine.

In front of the court building, dozens of people nevertheless showed their solidarity with the defendants.

June 11 – International Day of Solidarity with Marius Mason & All Long-Term Anarchist Prisoners

Against another year of state encroachment, against the restriction of free movement under the auspices of “safety,” against the continued brutalization of our friends in prison, we call for a renewal of solidarity on June 11, 2021: International Day of Solidarity with Marius Mason & All Long-Term Anarchist Prisoners. For 17 years, June 11th has been an occasion for celebration, mourning, and revolt. It has been a moment to breathe, to remember those fallen and those in cages, to remind ourselves of why we remain committed to the Beautiful Idea of anarchism. Through our letters, demonstrations, fundraising, and solidarity attacks we keep the beacon lit for those who have given years of their lives for their conviction that the State is a horror against which we must wager our lives.
