Several activists from Bielefed organized solidarity action with anarchists and antifascists tortured and prosecuted in Russia in last month. Since our last report on the situation – https://abcdd.org/2018/01/30/repression-in-russland-airsoft-der-pensaer-fall-des-terrorismus/ more and more people were detained all around the country with torture with electricity applied to them as well. Activist from Evgeniy Karakesh was as well kidnapped in Crimea under other charges connected with distribution of terrorist materials. Multiply anarchists and antifascists are leaving the country in fear for their health and health of their relatives (police and FSB have threatens many times consequences for those related with anarchists). And although elections ended up with Putin winning over 70% of votes repressions mass repressions against antifascists and anarchists are not expected to be over in foreseen future. Read More
On Sunday Februrary 25th Czech police arrested 67 years old citizen of Syria, Salih Muslim. On Tuesday 27th February the city court in Prague decided that Salih Moslim can wait for the possible extradition outside of the wall of custodial jail. Turkey has 40 days to give the full extradition request about which the Czech minster of Justice will decide. Read More
In October in Penza (Russia) several people associated with anarchist movement were arrested on charges of forming up terrorist organization to overthrow Putin’s regime. After tortures with electricity and other methods all but one admitted their guilt. This came to light only in January, when several people associated with anarchist and antifascist movement disappeared in Petersburg. It turned out later that they were kidnapped by the Russian secret police FSB and tortured as well. After that they admitted that they are part of so called “Network” – terrorist organization that exists in multiply cities of Russia including Penza and Petersburg. This “network” was established to perform terrorist attacks during next president elections and soccer championship. Read More
Worldwide the forces of repression are cracking down on anarchists. In the summer of 2017 a few activists discussed the idea of creating an International Anarchist Defence Fund (A-Fund) and today it’s finally in action. Read More
