The Anarchist Radio from Dresden made an interview (only in german available) with Andreas Krebs about the current situation:
The day before yesterday (28.02.24) Andreas was delighted to inform us that the prison management had made concessions after 30 days of hunger strike. On 27.02.24 Andreas was assured in a 3-page letter dated 22.02.24 that he would receive the Prisoner Info (magazine about prisoners) and the Rote Hilfe newspaper in future. He was also to get his book back. These were Andreas’ most important demands. But then everything turned out differently.
But on 29.02.24 Andreas received confirmation of the removal of items in the form of two A5 slips of paper. The current issue of Rote Hilfe, the Prisoner Info, a postcard with a political imprint and a stamp were confiscated.
Andreas is really angry.
He informed the prison management yesterday that he would resume his hunger strike immediately.
We spoke to him today about the situation and how he is doing.
