For the 3rd time the International Day of Solidarity with Trans*people in prison is going to take place.
Prison is keeping people in isolation, emotional stagnation, restricted from communication and seperated from social sourounding. Trans*people face appart from this problems, which are already enforced on people in prison, a lot of more challenges. They face a high level of violence, abuse and problems with mental health. They are frequently denied hormones and misgendered.
We would like to come together to discuss problems trans*people face in prison, remember those who did not survive the incarceration and faced violance and abuse. Also we wanna write letters to support people in prison and show them that they are not alone. Everybody is invited to drop in for a tea and cake, as long or short as you wish. Maybe there will be also a movie.
