Hunger strike in Tegel prison in Berlin!
Abuses in prison!
Degrading behavior, poor food supply, withholding of mail, no visiting opportunities.
The list of problems in Tegel Prison is long.
Andreas Krebs has been on hunger strike since 29.01.2024. Although he is not in good health himself and has severe kidney problems, the hunger strike is his last chance to demand his rights. Andreas has been harassed since his arrival at Tegel Prison. Mail is not handed out, nor are newspapers and books. His applications are not processed. His health care leaves much to be desired.
But Andreas is not only fighting for his interests!
In an interview and several videos, he also reports on the injustices against other prisoners.
In one of the videos, he calls for an independent commission to hold hearings for detainees. So that they are given the opportunity to report on their situation. This is the only way to really do something about these abuses!
