Today (Thursday, February 15, 2024) morning around 9:30am, officers with dogs came to Andreas’ cell. First they asked if he had any prohibited items in his cell. After Andreas denied this, he was locked in a room with other prisoners. The cell search was not only carried out on Andreas, but also on other prisoners in his vicinity. The officers dismantled several cells, unscrewed washbasins and took everything apart.
The whole operation was completely excessive and humiliating towards the prisoners. Detainees had to strip naked and squat down for the inspection. Cell phones were searched for, but nothing was found!
Dogs trained to sniff out electronics such as cell phones, tablets, laptops and USB sticks were used for the search.
Since they did not find a cell phone, three Bruce Lee books, a karate book and two T-shirts were taken!!!!
The prison’s harassment of Andreas and other prisoners continues!
