The year is coming to an end. This year, too, people in many places have fought for freedom and a life in dignity. How many of them are now imprisoned? Whether due to poverty, precarious living conditions or their political struggle, no one belongs behind bars.
This year there is also a prisoner from our political surroundings: Maja is in Dresden prison because the cops are accusing Maja of taking part in attacks on neo-Nazis. The cops are going to absurd lengths in the proceedings. It is a campaign against anti-fascism that fits in perfectly with the electoral success of the AfD, European isolationism and the radicalization of conservatives in Germany.
Let’s show the imprisoned people on 31.12.2023 that they are not alone. During that time of year that many spend with their loved ones, the isolation and loneliness in prison is particularly great.
Come with us to the prison.
