Call for the feminist demo on 30.04.2023 at 8pm, Jorge-Gomondai-Platz, Dresden
Feminicide, transmisic laws, attacks against queers, violence against women, patriarchal order – enough is enough!
Whether in Dresden, the US, or Iran: Again and again, we as WLINTA are confronted with the narrative that streets are supposed to be an unsafe place for us. That we have no right being or speaking atpublicspaces. That it would be best for us to stay at home quietly.
We know: That’s bullshit!
Believing this narrative is dangerous, because it isolates us and takes away our power from fighting together in unity. The feminist revolution in Iran shows what courage and power lies in rising up together against our oppression.
And that’s exactly why we will occupy public space on April 30th again!
On the one hand, we will show our anger and antagonism: On the state, capitalist patriarchy and those who oppress us! On the other hand, we want to be amicable, appreciative and in solidarity with each other. We will stand together, shoulder to shoulder, in all the different ways we are plagued by patriarchy.
Let’s pair up anger and affection!
Come with us to the streets on 30.04.! Loud and militant, we will take back the night – united in our angerand solidarity- to smash the patriarchy!
