Rally at the prison

Maja is still in prison in Dresden. But now in deportation custody. The Court of Appeal in Berlin has now ordered Maja to be detained pending deportation. This means that in the next step, the court will examine whether the detention conditions in Hungary allow Maja to be extradited to Hungary.

Maja is facing several years in prison in Hungary under unspeakable conditions. The local public prosecutor’s office is coming up with charges that have not even occurred to the Hungarian authorities so far. Fortunately, the Federal Supreme Court has rejected the latter.

We want to prevent the extradition at all costs and put pressure on the authorities and the prison. Maja must not be extradited. In addition, we also demand that Ilaria and Tobi are finally released from almost a year of pre-trial detention in Hungary.

We demand: No extradition of anti-fascists to Hungary to a court filled with right-wing extremists! Take to the streets against the shift to the right and repression.

We want to show Maja – as we do every month – that we are there and that we stand in solidarity on the other side of the wall and will not leave Maja alone.

So come to the prison in large numbers on Wednesday from 8 to 9 pm and be loud with us. Why so late? The prisoners are locked into their cells at 8pm. This means that they are sitting alone in their cells at this time and need our solidarity and our voices.
