On the occasion of the international feminist day of struggle we showed solidarity with the imprisoned people of the women’s prison Chemnitz. The rally in front of the prison started at 15:00. During the rally we were able to send greetings and music wishes to the imprisoned people from Chemnitz Prison and from other German prisons. In various speeches it was made clear that the prison system reinforces interpersonal violence, patriarchal power, racism, poverty and discrimination instead of solving social problems.
We call on you, come to the rally on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 4 pm at Jorge Gomondai Square!
The year 2020 was marked by the death of George Floyd and the discussion about police violence. However, this sad event was neither an isolated incident nor a new development. Police violence has existed as long as police have existed. Police stops and violence do not happen by chance. Mostly people who are affected are poor, people of color, black people, homeless people, young people, people who do not fit into gender norms, people with mental problems, political activists.
Qnly one week left! Let´s go! Anarchist feminist antiprison ralley in Chemnitz.
We would like to go together. Therefor we are going to meet on Sunday, 7 of march at 12:30pm in front of the main station in Dresden (Wiener Platz).
When: 07.03.2021 at 3 pm
Where: on the parking lot in front of the prison in Chemnitz
Prison is a means for the state to deal with social problems. It is supposed to “resocialize” you. But you have hardly any opportunity for self-determination and you are isolated from the rest of the society. Every third person ends up there again after release, because it doesn’t help prisoners, but to secure the status quo. Prison is a violent and monotonous place. The authoritarian penal system reinforces discrimination and economic exploitation.
If you also think that prison cannot be a solution for individual and social problems, then come with us to Chemnitz Prison on 07.03.2021. There we want to get the prisoners a bit out of isolation, inform ourselves together about the conditions in prison and show our solidarity.
Rally on 31.12.2020
at 14:00 at the deportation prison Hamburger Straße
15:30 at the prison Hammerweg (Fabricestraße)
Come with bicycles, scooters, wheeled vehicles!
Abolish all prisons! In Germany, too, social peace is secured with prison walls behind which people are locked away. They do not serve as protection against dangerous criminals. As a rule, it is mainly those who are too poor to buy a car and instead use public transport for free who end up in prison. Or those who are not allowed to work or cannot find work and are therefore forced to sell drugs.
Since last week, the anarchists from the Partisans’ case have not been allowed lawyers in the KGB detention center, citing the recent quarantine. The prisoners themselves receive correspondence only from relatives and very rarely from comrades/friends.
CW: police violence and torture
Mikalai Dziadok story, handed over to Radio Svaboda.
On November 12, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on the arrest of anarchist blogger Mikalai Dziadok. Then the press service of the department claimed that the detainee “actively cooperates with the investigating authorities and gives confessions.” At the same time, on the record, published together with the police press release, it is clear that Dedok was severely beaten. Now he is accused of organizing actions that grossly violate public order (Article 342 of the Criminal Code). From the person with whom Dedok managed to talk in the detention centre on Okrestina Street, “Mediazona” learned the details of the anarchist’s detention.
On November 15, the anti-fascist and musician Dima Masal was arrested in Grodno. Many may know him from the bands Contra La Contra and Wagna.
Anarchists have always stood up against tyranny and dictatorship. Regardless of the color of the flag, raised by authoritarianism over this or that corner of the planet. So it is not surprising that anarchists are actively involved in the uprising against the dictator Lukashenko in Belarus. From the very first days, with our determination and uncompromising attitude, we showed that anarchism is a revolutionary movement capable of changing the world!
Rally on 20.11.2020 at 4 pm at the Lager Bremer Straße
5 pm at Hammerweg (Fabricestr.)
Comes with wheels, wheelchairs, mobile bases!
The jails must perish! In Germany the social peace is secured with prison walls behind which people are locked away like every where else. They do not serve the protection from „dangerous criminals“. Criminal law, the courts, the police, the prosecutors, the prisons ensure exploitation and oppression. They do not serve „re-socialization“: outside of society people are not educated to act socially. Prisons stigmatize, hurt, humiliate and dehumanize.
