On February 15/16, 2023, the forest occupation Heibo – the Heidebogen in Ottendorf Okrilla near Dresden was evicted. One and a half years were spent trying to prevent the expansion of gravel mining, to protect the forest and the moors and to address the construction and traffic turnaround. Gravel is an important resource in the construction business. The expansion of mining will create Europe’s largest gravel mining field.
Thanks to everyone who got involved in Heibo and supported the activists during the occupation and eviction. For many it was an exhausting time.
Unfortunately we are not all – the prisoners are missing! Finn is still in jail.
Finn (he/him) is happy about postcards, with #LütziLebt (Eckhardts + Paulas Hof) and #HeiboLebt motives + letters with song lyrics to Lützi, klimaschutz means antifa…
