Collective letter writing with tea and cake

As every last Friday of the month, you are warmly invited to the letter-writing café at Malobeo.
We show solidarity with people in prison, because we are convinced that prison and punishment do not contribute to a more just and non-violent society. We want a society in which social problems are being worked on instead of being locked away. People must not be criminalized because they are poor, queer or non-white. People must not be criminalized because they do not comply with the norms of the prevailing system or actively fight against the destruction and exploitation in capitalism.
Unfortunately, we are not all – the prisoners are missing!
For this reason, let’s write letters and postcards to the prisoners together. This way we show them that we have not forgotten them and let them actively participate in our thoughts, struggles and exchange processes. Let’s use pen, paper and creativity to break through the isolation of the very same everyday prison life!
